I have noticed that when people visit Las Vegas they completely lose it. Is the rest of the country like prison. It seems that way from the reaction I see from our visitors. A new casino opens I see it and the awe is gone.

Living in "Sin City" my whole life I have noticed it is frustrating to travel to other places in the US...it does feel like prison. Living in Las Vegas there are so many privledges we take for granted. The hardest one to adjust to is businesses closing. Not that I stay out all night in the casinos, but at least I have the option. I never knew that grocery stores actually close. Just never saw it before. Bars also close elsewhere. Most people in Las Vegas do not go out until midnight, and that is "Last Call" everywhere else.

I know people mostly come to Las Vegas to gamble. I want to know what comes over some people that would literally sell their sole for more money to gamble with. There was actually a law in place a while back that read it was illegal to pawn your dentures. Are people willing to give up their teeth to gamble. Since I live here, I need this explained to me.

Though some things confuse me, I do see why people love Las Vegas. No where else can you completely let loose with almost no recourse. Most people that I know that visit get a room to simply shower in...no one sleeps while they are here.

In my opinion Las Vegas gives you the most value for your money because it is "The Town that never Sleeps"
