On May 15, 2005, Las Vegas will celebrate its 100th Birthday! This historic occasion has something to offer everyone. Our 100th Birthday will pay tribute to the people, places, things and events that helped our City carve a rich and dynamic place in American and world history. It will also be a great time for residents and tourists to explore the different aspects of our City, participate in spectacular events and celebrate the first city of the 21st Century. The celebration kick-off will be held New Year's Eve, December 31, 2004, and continue throughout the new year with hundreds of events and projects.
